Homemade Market Sweets Provide Nostalgia to Customers
Fudge "n" Stuff provides a variety of sweets for Westford Farmers Market customers each week.
Gisele Albertelli's sweet treat was so popular among her friends and family, that she decided to make it Christmas all year.
"I used to make a popcorn that was drizzled in chocolate and caramel with peanuts, and I was doing that for Christmas gifts," said Albertelli, who runs Fudge "n" Stuff, which is Patch's latest vendor spotlight from the Westford Farmers Market. "My list got so long that I thought maybe I should make some money from it, and that's what got me started."
But the popcorn isn't the only thing Albertelli sells at the market. She has a variety of fudges and other sweets for sale every Tuesday on Westford Town Common.
There is one, however, that she said is extremely popular. Albertelli's penuche fudge is a big hit, even for herself as she said her father used to make it for her.
"It brings me back to when I was a kid," said Albertelli.
