Soluna Garden Farm Spices Up Westford Farmers Market

Find out what Soluna Garden Farm brings to the table at the Westford Farmers Market.

Amy Hirschfeld is helping spice things up in Westford.

The Soluna Garden Farms owner is among the vendors at the Westford Farmers Market, which is open every Tuesday from 2:30-6:30 p.m. on Town Common.

According to the business' website, Soluna Garden Farms creates a variety of spices and herbs to sell at a wide variety of markets.

"Soluna Garden Farm is a one-acre farm in Winchester, Massachusetts, that specializes in sustainably grown herbs and flowers. Soluna grows all its fresh herbs and flowers using no chemical fertilizers, preservatives, or pesticides," the website says.

According to Hirschfeld, the Farmers Market provides a unique business opportunity and added benefits for customers as well.

"Shopping local is one of the most important things because it really creates a sense of community as well as having economic benefits for all the local businesses," said Hirschfeld. "So going to the Farmers Market you really get a chance to find out where everything is coming from and talk to the people who are making it."
