Eight Student-Athletes at Nashoba Tech Attend League Sportsmanship Event

WESTFORD — Eight sophomore student-athletes at Nashoba Valley Technical High School recently attended the Commonwealth Athletic League’s annual Sportsmanship Summit at Blackstone Valley Technical High School in Upton.

Nashoba Tech Athletic Director David Fusco said the event allows athletes from all the schools in the league to get together in a non-competitive atmosphere.

"We want the kids to know it’s important to want to win, but they should show respect for each other,” Fusco said. “We want them to learn how to win with honor instead of disgrace.”

Westford sophomores Veronica Pecora and Crystal Perkins attended.
