Join Chef Liz Barbour for this important hands-on class.  Class will begin with a stir fry cooking demonstration and tasting using the ingredients featured in class.   Liz’s detailed instruction emphasizes the proper handling, care and use of a chef’s knife and boning knife. Each student will learn how to properly hold and use chef knives as a way to save time and effort in the kitchen.


Students are instructed in the proper methods of slicing, chopping, dicing and mincing vegetables and herbs.  In addition, students will learn to prepare a whole chicken for roasting as well as breaking it down into pieces and cutlets for easy preparation.  Take your cut ingredients home with Liz’s recipe and you are ready to cook a delicious meal for all to enjoy!


Bring your favorite chef’s knife.   All tools and materials will be supplied.
