Join Sustainable Westford in partnership with the Westford Health Dept. for a panel discussion on the treatments for anxiety and depression including:  Alternative medicine and natural remedies, Psychotherapy and Drug therapy. Explore the relationship between mental and physical healing.  Discussion led by leading experts in the field: Dr. Alison Caldwell-Andrews PhD, Licensed Psychologist, Researcher, Educator and Author, Dianne Walsh, LICSW and Helen Fu, CNC, CH, CNHP 

Dr. Caldwell-Andrews is an entertaining and informative public speaker on topics of mind-body health and motivation; she leads several different courses around the country.  Dr. Caldwell-Andrews received her PhD in Clinical Psychology ... and completed a post-doc in Mind-Body Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine.  As research faculty at Yale, she conducted clinical research studies on interventions designed to reduce anxiety in adults, families and children.   She embraces a holistic, data-driven context that includes physiological as well as psychological areas of functioning. She is a dialectical behavioral therapist and an expert in mind-body health,  a Fellow of the American Institute of Stress, a non-profit organization dedicated to education, health and leadership.  

Dianne Walsh, LICSW, is a  Cognitive –Behavioral Therapist at the Perkins Behavioral Health Clinic in Lancaster MA and has 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Dianne’s experience includes extensive work with trauma victims and child protection work before moving into the private sector. Her current focus of work is with Adolescents and Adults in individual and family therapy. Dianne has advanced training in Depression and Anxiety Disorders, ODD, Psychotic Thought Disorders and Trauma. She has been part of the team presenting the educational program Breaking Free of Depression for the past 3 years. And, she co-leads the Westford Parent Support Group – a free monthly group for parents of children with mental health, emotional and behavioral needs. 

Helen Fu – CNC, CH, CNHP Helen is a Certified Nutritionist, Chinese Herbalist, and Certified Natural Health Professional. As one of the few practitioners that truly understand and combine both Oriental and Western holistic healing, Helen specializes in Chinese medicine, emotional healing, diet, nutrition, weight loss, diabetes and cancer.  Helen’s practice is located in Westford, MA.
