  It's all about collecting data and evidence these days and both students AND staff are feeling as burnt as ever. NOT a healthy climate right now for teaching , learning, and development but rather one that pushes data collection at the expense of sanity

  If certain deans stopping giving friendly warnings when catching kids with smokeless tobacco (must be that former athlete side) and other contraband the number would be higher.
  The admin from what I hear is so busy walking around with their noses buried in the screens of their iPads trying to complete the 1001 teacher evaluations they are now required to do starting this year they are aloof and disconnected as ever from the growing serious student issues over there
