A serious accident involving a motorcycle and a minivan occurred Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Groton and Oak Hill Road. in Westford.

A serious accident involving a motorcycle and a minivan occurred Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Groton and Oak Hill Road in Westford. The accident marked the second at that intersection and the third involving Oak Hill Road in less than a month. According to eyewitness reports, the motorcycle came to rest on its side in front of the Rapid Refill and Lowell Five Bank, while minivan parked at the entrance of Philbrick's Motorsports next to Rapid Refill. Damage to the minivan was focused on the driver's side of the vehicle, with significant damage to the windows, two of which were gone, and the doors, which appeared to be caved in. Hello Westford, Today we're taking a new approach to our gas price chart, looking at the past eight weeks of a single gas station to compare prices each week, going through all eight every two months to spot trends. Today we start at Rapid Refill, we'll go down Groton Road to Old Nab and end at Minot's Corner in late May. All prices were 87 octane unleaded and additional taxes or fees may apply. According to AAA, the current average price for regular unleaded gas in the state of Massachusetts is $3.84 per gallon. The average price in Westford on April 3 was $3.87 per gallon.
