Here's our video recap of the weekend at Nashoba Valley Ski Area.
It's definitely hard to condense the Pig'n'Pepper/Blues'n'Brews weekend into about a minute, but that's what we tried to do here with the help of Up With People, who performed at the Pig'n'Pepper on Sunday. If you have any pictures from the event, please share them with us by clicking on the "Upload Photos and Videos" button.
This year the Pig'n'Pepper debuted the "Food on a Stick" pavilion, we took some pictures of what you missed if you weren't there. Tell us which one looks the best!
There were plenty of folks who stopped by the Pig'n'Pepper's first ever "Food on a Stick" pavilion at Nashoba Valley Ski Area on Sunday. For those who didn't, we want to share what you missed and ask what you think looked like the best stick-based food option. We'll be taking votes via our poll as well as from comments, and if none of these look good, share your own ideas on what should have been there! The poll here will open for a week and also share the Rotary's final results on what voters at the Pig'n'Pepper thought as well.

The event was further away from the public this year, and was also stretched out over two days due to increased competition.
There are plenty of things going on each year at the once again annual Westford Rotary Pig’n’Pepper, and the New England Barbecue Society’s annual contest is no exception. And yes, there were a few changes between this year and last year, even if most people visiting the festival may not have seen them. The event, one of six this month held by the New England Barbecue Society, also known as NEBS, was held on the far end of the Nashoba Valley Ski Area; beyond the likely interest of many members of the public and the event’s home last year at the Ski Area, which this year held the festival’s “food-on-a-stick pavilion.” Between that change and an added fourth grilling category that required judging during Saturday as well as Sunday, NEBS …

Here's a look back at last year.
Hey Westford, it's time for the Blues'n'Brews and Pig'n'Pepper Festivals this weekend at Nashoba Valley Ski Area! To get you ready, here's a look back at some photos from last year. If you have any Pig'n'Pepper photos, share them with us here by clicking on the "Upload Photos and Videos" button. If you're planning on going, tell us what you're looking forward to the most? Is it the food-on-a-stick pavilion? The blues musicians? The 20 to 40 expected breweries? Maybe all the stuff for the kids? Everybody wants to hear what you're looking forward to the most!

Five Things for the day after Hurricane Irene in Westford.
Hello Westford! Here are Five Things you need to know for today, August 29. #1. Weather: Anything would have been better than yesterday, but today will likely be great. Plenty of sun, highs approaching 80, dropping to near 60 overnight. #2. Tropical Storm Irene Cleanup: Keep checking in here on Westford Patch for more news from around town as Westford picks up after yesterday’s storm. #3. Westford Anagram Challenge: This person has a liquor store in Acton and we caught a photo of him at the Pig’n’Pepper last weekend. If you rearrange the letters in his name, you get “Banned Registry.” Do you know who it is? Take a guess in the comments! We’ll have the answer tomorrow. Yesterday’s person was Nichole Janowsky. #4. Westfords Around the World…

Yesterday we shared the story of the Pig'n'Pepper's Tailgate BBQ Challenge, today we share the results in part two of the story.
Yesterday we talked about the Tailgate BBQ Challenge at the Westford Rotary's Pig'n'Pepper fest, and today we wanted to share the total scores. We also wanted to note the special plaudits from the judges for team Mudd Dukk who entered in their first competition ever and only had a chicken wing entry.
