Today is Monday, July 30 and here are 5 things you need to know. 1. Weather: After yesterday's dreary weather, we're in for sun and temperatures in the lower 80's today. 2. Taste: Go for a garden tour at Fat Moon Farm that will include discussions about plant varieties, pest control, growing practices, and favorite recipes. The program promises to pick (and munch, if you like) your way through the garden while discussing the merits of growing 10 varieties of tomatoes, how to make salsa, and which bugs like to eat their kale! Expect a fun, relaxing evening with a bunch of foodies. Tour includes a basket of vegetables that we will harvest during the tour. It doesn't get any fresher. Cost is $25. 3.
