Could National Grid do in Westford what NSTAR did in Wayland?
Recently in Wayland, NSTAR has been engaging in controversial and aggressive vegetation clearing policies related to last October's storm that has local residents outraged. Today we ask Westford Patch readers if they think National Grid could ever do the same thing in Westford that NSTAR did in Wayland. Janet, I understand your concern, but it's really not their job to artfully craft your trees into lovely expressions of the arborist's art. it's their job to reduce the chances of falling limbs that will make you and thousands of others seethe in the cold come February's storms.
