Ian Speliotis came away from the game with a hat trick.
It was a big win for Westford Academy on Saturday night at Chelmsford Forum after the team scored five goals against two different netminders in a 5-2 victory over Chelmsford. The Lions were unable to stop Westford junior forward Ian Speliotis, who came away with a hat trick. Westford's first mark on the scoreboard came when Jay Drapeau scored just two minutes and 19 seconds into the first period. Speliotis would then add to the lead with goals five minutes and 20 seconds after Drapeau's, and again two minutes and 29 seconds after that, eventually completing his hat trick four minutes and 45 seconds into the second. The Lions would answer with their first point on the board 58 seconds later, but couldn't capitalize on a tripping call …
