Local hopefuls Yasmin Siraj, Alex Shibutani, Alexandria Shaughnessy and Jimmy Morgan will take on the natio's best over the four days of events. Thursday will feature the opening ceremony, pairs short program and women's short program. The men's short program starts a day later, according to theofficial schedule. Winning the U.S. championship is itself a great achievement, but skaters are also competing for a chance to compete in Sochi, Russia next month.

Taking the T is always a good option when heading to the Garden. If you do have to drive, there's discounted parking available nearby.
