Young Resident Sells Lemonade for Bombing Victims

Nine-year-old Westford resident Sadie Green sold lemonade Saturday on Town Common in an effort to raise money for Boston Marathon bombing victims through the One Fund.

There are plenty of activities for nine-year-olds happening in Westford on any given Saturday morning. But this weekend, there was nowhere other than Town Common that Sadie Green would have rather been.

Green spent her morning and early afternoon at a lemonade stand she set up in an effort to raise money for Boston Marathon bombing victims. All of the money she collected from residents and passing motorists will be donated to the One Fund.

Thanks to her morning on Town Common, Green raised a total of $484.06 that she will donate to the bombing victims.
