Westford Academy Volunteer Appreciation Day at the Farmers Market

State Representative Jim Arciero and Westford Academy Principal James Antonelli were on hand to help thank students for their services at the Farmers' Market.

Tuesday, September 20th, State Representative Jim Arciero and Principal James Antonelli helped market founder Gloria Gilbert thank Westford Academy students for their volunteer services at the Farmers Market. The students have been an instrumental in managing the Westford Farmers Market that runs every Tuesday afternoon from 2:30- 6:30 pm.

Certificates were handed out to all the volunteers and special prizes were awarded to returning volunteers as well as the co-managers, Samantha Ronayne and Michael Gallucci.

Market Managers were awarded a State Citation from the House of Representatives, five other volunteers (three years service) received Letters of Recognition.

Principal James Antonelli, in support of the Market, wants to set up an Internship for Market Management most likely to start this Spring.
