John Kerry Gives Books To Westford Veterans

Kerry helped spearhead a recent donation of surplus books from the Library of Congress to the Cameron Senior Center.

Surplus books from the Library of Congress have found their way to seniors here in Westford thanks in part to the actions of Senator John Kerry.

Kerry recently spearheaded donations from the surplus to the Veterans Book Corner at the , a project of the Westford Women’s Club and the Westford Department of Veterans Services.

The donation was accepted by local seniors as well as local officials such as Westford veterans service officer Terry Stader.

“(We) got a big boost with some great reading material,” said Stader in a release. “Please stop by and take a look at some of these items from our lending library with military topical themes.”
