Grey Ghosts Garner Big Win Over Tewksbury

The 5-2 win gave the visiting Redmen what was their second loss of the year.

A showdown of two potential playoff contenders turned into a convincing victory in Tyngsboro on Wednesday night as defeated Tewksbury, 5-2.

Jay Drapeau contributed a pair of goals for the Grey Ghosts and was joined by Cam MacDonald, Cam Tetrault and Pat Houghton while the defending MIAA Division 2 Champions avoided the shutout thanks to scores from Ryan Petti and Chris Connors.

"It was a good win for us," said Westford Academy head coach Bob Carpenter, who expected a hard fought game. "The game was closer than the score indicates."
