Westford Academy's Drapeau Will Be Heading to Loyola

The multi-sport athlete also considered UMass among other schools.

 

Westford Academy hockey and lacross star Jay Drapeau (pictured), will be heading to Loyola next year in an announcement provided by the Westford Academy athletics department.

He's still just a junior, but last year he grabbed 95 goals and 27 assists for the lacrosse team, earning first team All-American honors in addition to being named as a first team all-star by the Baltimore Summer Kickoff, the Dual County League, Bostonlax.com, the Boston Herald, the Lowell Sun, and New England Prep Stars, which also named him the top player in the class of 2014.

According to the announcement, he also considered the University of Vermont, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Hofstra, and the University of Denver.
