Grey Ghosts Pick Up Two Big Wins Against Waltham

The Ghosts raised their record to 7-2-2 after a 4-0 win against Waltham on Tuesday.

Westford got two goals from Danielle Donovan and Allia Connolly. Allison Avery had four saves in net in what was her sixth shutout of the season.

The Ghosts face off against Acton-Boxborough at home at 4 p.m.

Westford split two key Dual County matchups this week, defeating Waltham at Nab Lake, but falling on the road to Lincoln-Sudbury.

The Ghosts finished a combined 40 over par in the Tuesday's win, 43 stroke better than Waltham. Zach Reid led the way with 17 of Westford's 107 Modified Stableford points.

Against Lincoln-Sudbury, the Ghosts fell to 53 over par, 13 strokes behind the Warriors. Zack Miller led the way in this matchup with 15 points.

Westford is still leading the way in the Dual County League's Large Division with a 6-2 overall record, followed closely by Acton-Boxborough at 5-2.
