Boys Lacrosse Eliminated in North Division 1 Semifinal
The Grey Ghost season came to an end at home versus the visiting Warriors.
Westford Academy's postseason run started off with a bang with the locals outscoring their first two opponents by a combined 46-8 margin. But on Wednesday, Lincoln-Sudbury quieted the Grey Ghosts and knocked them out of the North Division 1 postseason.
The third-seeded Warriors dominated throughout and eliminated second-ranked Westford Academy with an 18-11 win.
Following the victory, Lincoln-Sudbury advanced to the tournament final, which is scheduled for Tuesday at Harvard Stadium.
Westford Academy, meanwhile, ends a stellar season with a 17-2 record.
