What Do You Want to Know about College Finances?

Post your burning college finance questions or join our live chat on Thursday.

By Grahame Turner

When I hit college, I suddenly had a bunch of money and no bills. I had always wanted to learn the guitar, so I went out and bought one.

I still don't know how to play it.

In hindsight, this was not my brightest idea. There were some questions I should have asked about finances and a few I might have needed to ask myself.

Have questions of your own? We're hosting a Patch Live Chat where you'll be able to ask some of those college finance questions I should have asked.

Stop in at noon Thursday to chat with financial expert Jane Jundquist.

A few users have already left questions, like this from Randy Winslow in Westford: "Is it better for the parent to help the student apply for combined financial aid, or have them emancipated(with all that, that entails) and apply on their own?"

Have questions of your own? Bring them with you to the chat. If you can't make it to ask your questions tomorrow, you can leave them in the comments below. We'll post a full transcript of the chat on the site after.
