Westford Schools Make New Hire

Kerry Clery will replace outgoing Assistant Superintendent Francis.

A new assistant superintendent has been hired to replace outgoing Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Christine Francis, according to a report in The Lowell Sun.

Kerry Clery, the assistant superintendent at Groton-Dunstable, was hired earlier this week and will start on July 1.

According to The Groton Online, Clery has been the assistant in Groton-Dunstable for a year after being hired by the district in 2012 as director of teaching, learning, and accountability.

Before that, Clery was an elementary school principal in Melrose and worked at The Pike School in Andover, developing and implementing curriculum.

She also previously worked as the interim assistant principal at Tyngsborough Elementary School, where she had previously worked as a third grade and fifth grade teacher.
