Where Should The Proposed Parker Village Fire Station Be?

It's unlikely that we'll now see a fire station on Boston Road following the results of town meeting earlier this week. So, what's next?

After money for a study on the feasibility and design of a proposed fire station on Boston Road was defeated by 19 votes at Town Meeting on Monday, it appears at the town will have to go back to the drawing board on the issue of its fire stations.

With need of a new central fire station, and concerns over fire coverage in Parker Village after the opening of Cornerstone Square last year, it's unclear what the solution might be, and today we want to get your take.

Should there be a new center station at the location of the current station? Or could a new Parker Village station in coordination with the current stations in Forge Village and Nabnasset cover the town center?

Should there be a satellite station at the Jack Walsh field? What about a full station there or somewhere else in Parker Village? And if somewhere other than the Jack Walsh Field, where would it go?

Is there another solution, such as paying Acton or Carlisle for assistance in Parker Village?
