What Did the Selectmen Do in Westford on Tuesday Night?

Highlights from the June 3, meeting.

The Westford Board of Selectmen met at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, at the town hall. Here's what they did: 

  • The selectmen spoke for about 25 minutes about the Drew Gardens property, focusing on developing a charge for the task force to eye a possible purchase of the property. No action was taken pending receipt of the lease on the property. 
  • The board also continued a discussion of the right of first refusal option for the Agnew Property, 64 Main St.
  • The board also met in private session to discuss collective bargaining with the Westford Public Works Association. The board voted 5-0 to make changes to the fiscal year 2014 to 2016 agreement with the union.
