Westford Establishments Nailed for Underage Alcohol Sales

Evviva Cucina, Westford Market and Liquors allegedly made beer sales to a teen who was under 21.

Two establishments in Westford will be called before the Board of Selectmen to answer charges that they served an underage patron beer, according to The Lowell Sun

According to the report, last month, Evviva Cucina and Westford Market and Liquors reportedly failed to card an 18-year-old man during a compliance check held by the state's Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission.

In both incidents, the man purchased Budweiser and was served, without being asked to prove he was of age.

Both establishments will be at hearings before the selectmen on April 22.
