Scott Brown Skewered at Wild Irish Breakfast in NH Friday Morning

Gov. Maggie Hassan, Sen. Kelly Ayotte and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal all took shots at the former Massachusetts Senator.

He wasn't even there, but Friday's Wild Irish Breakfast in Nashua, NH quickly turned into what seemed like a roast of soon-to-be Senate candidate Scott Brown.

The ribbing of the oft-unshirted former Massachusetts Senator crossed party lines, with Gov. Maggie Hassan, a Democrat, and Republicans Sen. Kelly Ayotte and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal all taking shots at Brown.

The Wild Irish Breakfast, put on by the PLUS Company, is always a light-hearted fare, filled with jokes and political jabs. This year, the jokes centered around Brown and David Campbell, the Nashua state representative who famously mowed down several ducks with his car earlier this year.

Hassan got the ribbing started, saying "Scott Brown was supposed to be here but he made an impromptu trip to Ukraine... he heard there was an election soon."

Ayotte joined in when she took the podium, saying Brown would have attended but passed on the breakfast when he found out he'd have to wear a shirt, a jab at both Brown's former career as a male model and his recent shirtless appearance on the front page of The Union Leader, the state's largest newspaper.

Jindal also referenced the former Massachusetts Senator in his remarks, saying Brown likes to refer to New Hampshire as "Massachusetts, without all those Democrats."
