Ross: Westford Strategic Planning Retreat a Success

Last week’s Strategic Planning Retreat at Kimball Farm has been deemed a success by Westford officials, including Town Manager Jodi Ross.

In a town email, Ross said the event had “record attendance,” about 140 people, including residents and officials from a number of boards and committees. A number of residents had also offered “verbal input” about the event, she said.

“It seemed popular with our residents,” she noted.

A summary report from the event will be published “in due course” and “will summarize the discussions and evaluations,” she stated.

Ross is also asking anyone who attended and hadn’t yet offered a perspective about how they think things went to touch base with officials and answer a few questions online.

The retreat was the fourth one the town of Westford has put together. Ross hopes to take the summary report and feedback from residents and use the information to make next year’s event even better, she said.
