Do You Agree With NMCOG'S Recommendations For The Town Center?

The Northern Middlesex Council of Governments has some recommendations for Westford's town center. Do you agree with them?

At Tuesday's Board of Selectmen meeting, representatives will be on hand from the Northern Middlesex Council of Governments (NMCOG) to present some recommendations on how to address parking and traffic problems near the area of the town center.

Along with some smaller suggestions like promoting pedestrian use of the Tom Paul trail and changing the Lincoln Street/Boston Road intersection, they have three main recommendations for the Selectmen

1. Build More Parking Behind The J.V. Fletcher Library

2. Move The Westford Farmers' Market To A Weekend

3. Create Overflow Parking Near the Abbot School on Fisher's Way

We've attached NMCOG's presentations and you can also see their study and powerpoint on the town website.

We'll have more on the Selectmen's meeting later on, but for now we want to ask: what do you think about NMCOG's recommendations?
