Bobcat with Rabies Found Near Westford

Animal Control issues warning after cat found in Littleton.

Westford Animal Control is warning residents that they should make sure their pet's rabies vaccine is up-to-date, in light of a bobcat with rabies found in Littleton earlier this week.
In an email alert, Animal Control noted that the bobcat was found near Route 119, near the Westford line on May 27.
"At this time we would like to remind residents that they should check to make sure their pet's rabies vaccine is up to date and to be aware of wild animals in your yard or neighborhood," the alert stated.
Residents with questions can contact animal control at animalcontrol@westfordma.gov or 978-692-4574.
