Woman Uses Neighbor's Wifi, Says Neighbor Allegedly Stole Credit Card Info

The following are entries from the Westford Police log for Sept. 10 and 11.

Tuesday, Sept. 11

6:42 a.m. - A warning was issued to the driver of a crash on Depot Street. There were no reported injuries.

11:11 a.m. - Robert Martin, 65, of Carter Avenue in Pawtucket, RI was arrested on charges of alleged class D drug posession.

July 28, 12:30 p.m. - One woman came to the Westford Police station believing that her identity had been stolen by a neighbor she was in a dispute with.

She told police that she was trying to evict the neighbor and her boyfriend.

Shortly after that, she believed that they allegedly took her credit card information along with deleting certain e-mails and making it appear that she is sending people e-mails to buy Viagra.

When asked how they did this, she said that she had been using the neighbor's wireless network.

Police asked the woman to call American Express to report the account number and to stop using the neighbor's wireless network.

Aug. 27, 10:04 a.m. - A surveyor near the corner of Acton and Carlisle roads was trying to find a marker near the wall of the Butter Brook Golf Course, but another man was violently yelling at him after the other man believed he was harming the flowers near the wall.

The surveyor told the other man that his tone was inappropriate, and he called the police.

According to police reports, the officer on the scene did not see any damage to the flowers and told the other man to be more polite with his concerns in the future.
