Woman Allegedly Causes Scene at Cornerstone Store

The following information was supplied by the Westford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Oct. 20, 7:20 p.m. – A female customer locked out of a business at Cornerstone Square was reported to police for causing a scene.

An officer was already in the area and went to the store, talking to the customer and an individual inside the store.

The customer said she calls every Sunday asking them to stay open so she can purchase items at the store, but the employees of the store said they could no longer wait, asking the customer to leave the store.

A third person attempted to calm down the situation at this point, with the customer then yelling at that person.

Eventually the customer was persuaded to leave the store and the doors were locked.

The customer did not appear intoxicated, but was the employee requested the customer not return to the store. 

Oct. 24, 12:56 – An intoxicated individual was spotted by an officer walking home down Groton Road near a local business. The officer introduced themselves to the man, who then introduced himself in return.

The man had no outstanding warrants, and the officer asked if the man would like a ride to his residence, which the man gratefully accepted.

Oct. 30, 9:45 a.m. – A business at Cornerstone Square reported bad checks for totals of $465.01 and $332.91 they had received from customers, saying that they could not reach the person that made the checks.

Police found the writer of the checks the next day and the amount was paid.

Oct. 30, 1:00 p.m. – A man called the Westford Police Department to report telephone harassment by an individual indicating he was from Microsoft and was asking for access to his computer.

The individual called several times and refused to identify himself.
