Police Looking for "Beanie" Man in String of Robberies Monday Morning

The Westford Police Department are looking for an intruder who allegedly broke into several homes in the Chamberlain/Hunt/Frances Hill Road area.

 

Westford Police have just issued a statement asking for help to identify a man who allegedly broke into several homes in the Chamberlain, Hunt and Frances Hill Road area during the early hours of July 9.

One homeowner spotted the man inside his residence, although a search of the surrounding area proved unfruitful, police said.

The intruder was only described as a male wearing a colorful "beanie" hat.

Another resident was awoken nearby by someone ringing their doorbell and a nearby unlocked motor vehicle was found with items missing.

Westford Police are asking all residents in the area to lock their home and car doors and to report any information to Detective Matthew Furlong at 978-399-2072 or by e-mail to detectives@westfordma.gov
