Sonia Quesada's Body Reportedly Autopsied

'No additional information to share at this time,' says Bedford Police Chief. Autopsied

BEDFORD – As investigators continue to probe Monday's death of Bedford resident Sonia Quesada, Bedford Police Chief John Bryfonski announced additional details are not likely to be released today.

"We have no further information to share at this time regarding this matter," said Bryfonski, who promised to keep Bedford Patch informed as the investigation develops.

An autopsy is being conducted on Quesada's body today and results – including toxicology tests – are not likely for days, maybe weeks. In addition, New England Cable News (NECN) is reporting that, for the time being, police are treating the event as a separate investigation from the reported home invasion in November that left the couple bloodied with serious injuries.

A Bedford Police cruiser had been stationed in the driveway of the home, which is located in the Mews of Bedford – a 55-plus community behind St. Elizabeth Seton Church, off Meetinghouse Road – since officers discovered the body of Sonia Quesada Monday morning.

Eduardo Quesada was found unconscious when police forcibly entered the residence after attempting and failing to contact the couple at the front door and via cell phone, and a large amount of prescription drugs were also found at the scene.

Police have no additional press briefings scheduled at this time.
