No Injuries In Rita Miller School Parking Lot Crash

Excerpts from the Westford Fire Department Log for the Week of Sept. 23 to 29, 2013

Sept. 23, 8:13 a.m. - Paramedics were informed that a car had rolled into a ditch near the Rita Miller School, with potential injuries on the scene.

Upon arrival, it was found that the car had rolled into a tree rather than a ditch due to the driver leaving their vehicle in neutral. There were no injuries.

Sept. 28, 6:22 p.m. - A small, yet illegal, fire was discovered in the yard of a home on North Hill Road. The homeowner was advised of burning regulations and the fire was extinguished.

Sept. 29, 9:51 a.m. - An emergency bracelet alert drew paramedics to Crusade Road, but it was discovered to be a false alarm.

Sept. 29, 6:52 p.m. - Alarms brought first responders to Carlisle Road, where it was determined there was an issue with septic system.

No further information was available.
