Tuesday, Oct. 9

Follow Up

Sept. 11, 8:26 p.m. - An officer from the Westford Police Department aided a Massachusetts State Trooper in Revere hoping to inform a Westford family that a member of their family was found unresponsive on the beach in Revere the night before.

Sept. 13, 4:25 p.m. - Down at Forge Beach, an individual called to report three individuals smoking marijuana.

An officer was dispatched to the scene, and found that the trio was smoking Marlboro cigarettes and Swisher Sweets cigars, but not marijuana.

Sept. 26, 10:20 a.m. - A motorist from Lowell was heading east on Groton Road when an officer did a random registration check of his vehicle.

This check revealed that the Lowell motorist's license had been suspended for lack of payment in July.

The officer talked to the man, who said that he had just dropped off his daughter and was unaware of the license suspension.

Another license holder was unavailable to come to the scene, so the Lowell man's truck was towed and the Lowell man was issued a ticket.
