Man Tries to Buy Gas After Station Closes, Police Intervene

Friday, Aug. 24

11:27 p.m. - Police investigated alleged dog bylaw violations on Depot Street. Animal Control came to Depot Street at 11:35 p.m.

Sunday, Aug. 26

12:28 a.m. – Officers intervened at a late night domestic dispute on Leighton Way.

July 28, 4:32 a.m. – Three officers were called in to break up a party inside a room at the .

Aug. 1, 1:13 p.m. – A clerk from the was concerned after receiving a phone call on behalf of the Littleton Fire Department that seemed fraudulent, but the Littleton Fire Department confirmed that they did call and they would remove the store from their list.

The clerk was relieved after hearing the call was legitimate.

Aug. 17, 10:36 p.m. – Coming up on the corner of Oak Hill and Groton roads, an officer spotted a man with a vehicle trying to get gas at the a few hundred feet away even though it was closed.

The officer asked the man what he was doing and was told that the man believed the pumps worked 24 hours a day, which the officer believed was incorrect.

At that point, the officer asked the man if he had actually had gotten any gas and he said he wasn’t sure, saying that the machine appeared to process the card, but did not seem to be pumping any gas.
