Bear Spotted Near Westford Academy Late On Tuesday Afternoon

Westford Patch has received reports that a bear was spotted near the Westford Academy football practice at approximately 4:30 p.m.

The Westford Police Department was also called about a bear sighting nearby on Hartford Road at approximately 4:50 p.m., although it is unclear if the two incidents were related.

Patch will have additional information if it becomes available.
