ARRESTS: Men Busted on Littleton Road; Lowell Man Charged with Assault

The Westford Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

Dennis Higgins, 48, of Amherst Street in Nashua, NH, and Peter M. Camplin, 47, of Holmswood Road in Sandown, were arrested at 1:29 p.m. on July 3, and charged with failure to appear upon recognizance. They were arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Littleton Road.

According to Nashua Police Department reports, Higgins has been arrested a number of times during the last few years. In February 2012, according to a post on Patch, he was arrested and charged with driver's license prohibitions and driving after suspension. He was arrested in March of 2013 for driving after revocation or suspension and traffic bylaws, miscellaneous, and in April 2013 for failing to appear an arraignment. In January of this year, he was arrested for attempt to commit theft by unauthorized taking.

Camplin has also had a couple of run-ins with the law.

In May of this year, according to Patch, he was arrested and charged with suspended registration and driving after revocation or suspension. On July 10, he was arrested in Londonderry for driving under the influence of drugs or liquor, transporting alcoholic beverage, and a bench warrant.

Binh Nguyen, 30, of Lincoln Street in Lowell, was arrested at 5:53 p.m. on July 4, on an assault and battery, domestic, charge. He was arrested on Endmoor Road after police were sent there for a domestic call.

According to stories in The Lowell Sun, Nguyen has been arrested for alleged violent acts in the past, including armed assault to murder in 2007, and domestic assault and battery in 2011.
