Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested

18-year old allegedly robbed Bedford Dunkin' Donuts.

Last week, Bedford Patch reported that a Bedford Dunkin' Donuts was robbed at knifepoint.

Monday night, Bedford Police arrested 18-year-old Nathan LaPorte of Manchester on a warrant at approximately 7 p.m. and charged him with the robbery at the Route 101 Plaza coffee shop.

According to police, LaPorte entered the Dunkin' Donuts through the back door and demanded money while using a knife to threaten employees.

LaPorte turned himself in at the Bedford Police station where he was processed and held on $5,000 cash bail. He was taken to the Hillsborough County Corrections Facility to await a Tuesday morning arraignment at the Merrimack District Court.

He looks familiar. Did he used to work at that Dunkin'?

Police did not release that information, Jonathan. I'm assuming it's part of the investigation.

A couple people I know also IDd him as a former employee. Makes sense. He came in after closing I think. And in the back where there probably aren't security cameras.
