Cub Scout Pack 100 is getting ready to kick-off another amazing Scouting year.  As always, we have some fun activities and outings planned.

In our pack meetings, we’ll be interacting with robots in November, acting in a play in December, learning hands-on engineering in February, and building several racing vehicles including our Pinewood Derby cars, Cubmobile ride-on downhill carts, and Space Derby rockets.

Our outings will include horseback riding, some hikes, a trip to Higgins Armory, star watching at the Phillips Academy observatory, a bike ride, a visit to Old Sturbridge Village, and a great overnight at a National Guard training facility (Camp Fogarty) where we’ll complete the low ropes course and adults will drive the kids in Humvees.  We’ll finish off the year with a cookout and campout at East Boston Camps.

All prospective scouts are welcome to attend our first pack meeting at 7:00pm on Friday, September 6th at Abbot SchoolCafeteria.  We will be having a Animal night, where the scouts will get up-close and personal with some live animals.  This will let any interested boys see a sample of a Pack 100 pack meeting.  You do not need to be a member to attend; just be interested in scouting!
