Vote for Don Siriani for Westford Selectman

Don Siriani.
Don Siriani.

Dear Westford,

I would like the people of Westford to know that we are very lucky that Don Siriani is running for Selectman. Don is a sincere and honest man. He has fresh, practical thoughts, and a boundless capacity to absorb complex issues. He will not just hear you, he will actually listen to your concerns and act accordingly. I've had the pleasure of knowing Don for seven years. He is a good husband and a phenomenal father to 16 year old twins. He is married to Deb Siriani, her Jewett/Hall family has been in Westford since the 1700’s. Don will work for Westford of today and for tomorrow.

Don is the Westford Kiwanis President, the charity that runs the ever popular Apple Blossom Festival. He is also heavily involved in Scouting through Troop 159 and he is a former member of the Westford School Committee. Community service is the soul of the Siriani family. Don and Debi enjoy working with children; they coached a Destination Imagination team. As a volunteer for Girls Inc. of Lowell, he also helped connect area teens to theater arts; bringing boys and girls to the stage for the first time.

Seniors should be aware that as a Senator's chief of staff Don has helped put more than $65 million in the hands of seniors across the state through his work to help write and pass the Senior Circuit Breaker tax credit which delivers $300,000 directly to Westford seniors every year.

If you do not already know him, please make time to see what he will bring to Westford by visiting his Website http://www.electdonsiriani.com.  Use your power to elect officials that will prepare Westford to resolve current problems and prepare to anticipate and face the future ones. Get involved. Vote for Don Siriani for Westford Selectman.

Westford Insider - who are you and what or who is your source? I welcome all Westford voters to support me, I will work to make Westford a financially sound livable town. I am the only candidate in this race who has invited and responded to dozens of questions. If you are so inside, show us the other candidate's answers to the questions I have answered. If you have answers from Kelly Ross and Jim Jarvie do Westford a favor and share your knowledge. I have no endorsement, real or imagined, from our staff. I have engaged every voter as an individual, and with respect. If I am elected to serve I will collective bargain on behalf of the town by being honest about our financial footing, and I will require that all parties act in good faith.

I don't have answers from other candidates (probably because they haven't answered questions like yourself) I imagine the reason the unions are looking to back you is a belief in what you said at the end of your post about "honest good faith" bargaining which has perhaps been absent of late no?

Thank you, Don, I emailed you my question.

Cori - I sent you an email a short while ago. In short, I do have a plan for 40B and you now have the details. I didn't realize that you are a candidate for office yourself until after I emailed you. Cheers-

Thank you for responding. I really wanted to communicate in a format that would allow for paragraphs. :)
