Westford's Victoria Ronayne a Student of the Month at Nashoba Tech
WESTFORD — Victoria Ronayne of Westford has been selected as a Student of the Month for December at Nashoba Valley Technical High School.
Victoria, daughter of Richard and Paula Ronayne, is a senior in the Dental Assisting program. She is a high-honors student and has been inducted into both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. She qualified for the John & Abigail Adams Scholarship due to her high score on the MCAS exam. She also participates in SkillsUSA, a national competition in which students display their technical aptitude in written tests and hands-on challenges.
Tori has been accepted into Wheelock College in Boston, where she hopes to major in Child Life and Family Centered Care, then work as a child life specialist.
She was nominated by Math instructor Robert Beaudette, who wrote: “Tori always works hard and demonstrates a personality that many students could emulate.”
Dental Assisting instructor Amanda Dangelo added: “Tori is one of the most responsible, kind-hearted and motivated high-school students I have ever met. Her dedication to her dental-assisting job and her education are prevalent every time I speak with Tori. She excels in the field of Dental Assisting.”
