Dear citizens of Westford,

Kelly Ross is running for re-election as Selectman in Westford. Kelly is proving to be an outstanding member of the Board of Selectman.  I am writing to you to urge your support in reelecting him.

I first met Kelly about 10 years ago when he was a very effective member and then Chair of the Finance committee.   I found him to be a calm and thoughtful leader, who asked relevant questions and always made rational arguments for his positions.  He was open and always honest with never a hidden agenda.  He is very skilled in bringing divergent views together to achieve compromises in the best interests of the town.  Kelly is a strong supporter of the schools, open space and trying to preserve the character of Westford, while still being mindful of the needs of the various businesses in town.   He is also active in various other organizations and events in town (e.g. Boy Scouts, the CAT Board of Directors, Veterans activities).

Kelly is one of those special people who make Westford the wonderful town that it is by dedicating so much of their time, energy and ideas to keeping us on track and moving forward,  those who do it for the town, not for their own gain.  I urge you to re-elect Kelly Ross on Tuesday, May 6th.

Best regards,
Rose ODonnell

For reasons mentioned by WI above, as well as others, I would just assume vote Justin Beiber, Mickey Mouse, or Vinnie the Bear than cast a vote to reelect KRoss or any of the current BOS Next on the chopping block needs to be David Keele Chair of the School Committee, who is personally to "thank" for the recent state of teacher town relations. Since there is no opposition candidate here's to hoping he realizes his time has come to step back

Maybe Ross and the other BOS can explain why they felt Chief Rochon should receive $25,000 above his obligated severance pay from the town and then refused to disclose it till the Lowell Sun uncovered it through the power of information act ruling?

Ross and all BOS should be voted out of office due to the back door deals being made which the tax payers have to pay for. Think back a couple weeks to the Ex Fire Chief's story in the Lowell Sun. Good job Samantha Allen
