The Tigerscame out strong.  They had excellent offense by Lauren Steele and Kayla Rochon. The Jellyfish, with less available players, played good on offense withDanielle Donovan leading the way.  Both teams played tenacious defense.

Wild Thornberries                 33

Overall Great game.  Fantastic performance by the dynamic duo Jillian and Taryn Chrysikos.  Katie Fitzsimmons showed great skills on both offense and defense
scoring several baskets.  For the Green Slime Alyssa Ingalls did fantastic on offense scoring 8 points.  Jess Sullivan as well as Rachel Stanley played tight defense. 


Blue Angels                        33

The Blue Angels rose to the occasion and held off a feisty Blueberry Squirrel
attack  After a close first half Blue Angel Liz Muller rained down shots scoring 9 of her team high 14 points in the second half.  Elise Paugh sealed the win with 4 points down the stretch.  Newcomer and ex WA star Casey Doremus dominated both ends of the court for the squirrels scoring a game high 17 points.  Amy Cornelius added 6 points of her own but the Squirrels could not overtake the heavenly Blue Angels.

 

Pink Friday                          30

The Cheetahs and Pink Friday played a close 30-38 game narrowly won by Pink Friday.  Pink Friday scoring leaders were Bri Mills with 13 points and Leah Bushey with 5.  Cheetah scorers were Alana Barrett with 16 and Samantha Wylie with
6.  Defense for Pink Friday was led by Megan McGrath and Courtney Kennedy.  Cheetah defensive leaders were Hannah Chateauneuf, Jess Casey and Danielle Roder.

 

Blueberry Squirrels         37

The Blueberry Squirrels played an awesome game.  Casey Doremus led the scoring with 22 points.  Amy Cornelius had 8, Hannah Kullberg 5 and Sam Kelly 2.  Ashley Gauthier, Kathryn Neuhardt, Ally Rohlfs, Natalie Trainer and Hailey Veillette played very strong defense and worked to secure the win.  The Tigers were led by Tianna Habosian with 10 points, Kayla Rochon with 8, Amy Cavanaugh 5 and Shannon Harris 4.  Hannah West played strong defense throughout.


Wild Thornberries            41

Neon Trees                     37


The Wild Thornberries defeated the Neon Trees by pulling away in the closing
minutes.  The game was highlighted by not one but two stuck balls in the backboard by Allison Loftus that gave both teams a needed rest.  The Neon Trees led at halftime but the Wild Thornberries were able to take the lead on the fresh legs and strong rebounding of Katie Fitzsimmons.  Taryn Chrysikos had a breakout game offensively in the second half with 12 points. Caitlyn Glidden led the Neon Trees with 14 points followed by Liz McAleese with 10.


Buttercups                          32

The Buttercups came out on top of a hard fought game to cut down the Trees.  The Buttercups spread the scoring around.  Bianca Tardi and Rebecca Shepherd had 8 points apiece while Kirsten Leary threw in 7 points to lead the attack.  Rebecca Holtom (4 pts.) and Alexa Sullivan (2 pts.) helped control the boards while Juliana Viscione (2 pts.), Michelle Thompson and Cassie Bernardo pitched in with aggressive defense.  The Neon Trees were led in scoring by Christina Caviston (9 pts.) and Hailey Macdonald (7pts).  Liz McAleese (4pts) and Caroline Rosinski (2 pts.) were key contributors for a tough Neon Trees team.

 

Pink Friday                          33

Green Giants                       24


Pink Friday and the Green Giants played a close 33-34 game won by Pink Friday.  A close game all the way the Green Giants played great offense led by Jenna Klinka with 13 points and Kayla Flanagan with 6.  Pink Friday offensive leaders were Ashley Geary with 12 and Brianna Mills with 9.  Green Giant defense was led by Kyra Kruger, Jordan Underwood and Sarah Boughan.  Defense for Pink Friday starred Emily Perrone, Sage Riddick and Courtney Kennedy.
