Construction Delays Coming on 495 From Exit 32 to Chelmsford

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (Mass DOT) reported on Wednesday that motorists should expect significant delays between Exit 32 onto Boston Road and the Chelmsford border from June 3 until the end of the 2012 construction season several months from now.

Construction will include vegetation clearing, ramp work at Exit 32, and work on the bridge over Tadmuck Road.

The project is expected to cost nearly $3.78 million dollars, most of which will be paid by the federal government.

Mass DOT is recommending that motorists find alternate routes during the construction period.
