GALVIN SAYS: THE STATE HOUSE IS ON TRIAL THIS NOVEMBER

Republican State Representative candidate, Dennis Galvin, stated today that, “the conviction of John O’Brien in federal court demonstrates that the culture of corruption is, in fact, a harsh reality on Beacon Hill and that current House leadership fully supports this culture.”

“The convictions in the probation scandal trial call into question the integrity of, not only those House members who directly benefited from this scandal, but also those whom enabled it.  This development has significantly heightened the stakes in 2014 for the voters of Massachusetts.  The election in November will not be solely about issues; it will also be about ethics and how Massachusetts will conduct its public business.  The issues associated with this trial bear directly on the quality of our democratic process in Massachusetts,” Galvin remarked.
