Westford Family FunFest Snow Sculpture Contest has started.... till Feb 28, 2014

Snow Sculpture Contest 2014 Started….



 Habitat
for Humanity of Greater Lowell of Westford and Westford Family FunFest will be
sponsoring the 4thAnnual Snow Sculpture Contest in Westford. The Contest will
run from now until - February 28, 2014. 
Get ready; be creative and most important pray for more snow. Habitat
for Humanity of Greater Lowell and Westford FunFest Committee are proud to
sponsor the 4th Annual Snow Sculpture Contest in Westford as part of the
activities for the Westford Winter Family FunFest 2014.



 Attention
snow bunnies, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell & Westford FunFest
Committee are looking for the best snow sculptures in Westford! You may enter
by taking a photo of your snow sculpture and mail/emailing 1-2 selected
pictures to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell @ Hicks Farm 124 Main St.

 Guidelines
and additional information below: Three areas to be creative :  Snowman, Snow Houses, Snow figures or other.



The
snow sculpture contest will run between now and February 28th .
2014* Watch website for snow delay or any changes if needed. You will
have about 30 days to build or sculpt a snowman, snow figure or snow house,
sculpture to enter into the contest at your house, school, business, etc.



Rules
and requirements:



1. Sculptures
should be placed in an easily accessible area for ease in judging and seeing by
the public.



2. There
is no theme, but sculptures must be in good taste and family friendly.



3. Non-toxic
dyes and props may be used.



4. Contestants
participate at their own risk-The Westford Winter FunFest Committee, Habitat
for Humanity of Greater Lowell will not be held responsible for any personal
injury or loss of or damage to any personal property.



5. The
Westford Winter FunFest Committee, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell
reserves the right to acquire all visual documentation (including photos) and
to use the documentation for promotional and informational purposes without
indemnity to the participants.




  • Judging points will be
    given for Most Creative, Funniest, Best use of the winter theme, & use
    of materials including snow and other materials. The judging committee
    will review the digital pictures first and may view the sculptures in
    person if needed to determine winners.



 In
addition to being recognized as the best snow sculptors in Westford for 2014,
Winners will have your sculpture on the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell
website, photo in media outlets as arranged, and included as a picture in the
Roudenbush Community Center Winter Brochure 2015 and a Cash Prize as stated
above. Each participant will receive a nice certificate to show off to
everyone.



ALL
SNOW SCULPTURES MUST BE COMPLETED, PHOTOGRAPHED AND EMAILED BY Friday, FEBRUARY
