Sue Ingalls, who is currently a Wildlife
Technician for the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife
(“MassWildlife”), will be speaking about Black Bears on the night. The
topics she will cover will include
species biology, life history, natural history, re-colonization of
native range, current hunting frameworks and management practices,
current research efforts, suburban bear issues and the human dimensions
regarding such wildlife interactions.
The Black Bears have become local residents to Westford with more and more sightings happening.
Jeff Diercks, our favorite Westford poet, will be doing a reading on the night.
Westford Conservation Trust Annual Meeting is being held in the General Meeting Room downstairs in the J. V. Fletcher Library starting at 7pm.
***Please be aware of the limited parking at the library and park
accordingly, carpool where possible. You can also park at Roudenbush
& Town Hall***
