Walk & Wag for Veterans
This Veteran's Day, join us at the Walk &
Wag for Veterans and make a real difference in the lives of disabled vets!
Dogs, bikes, and kids are welcome. We'll have food, a silent auction,
children's activities, and a two-mile scenic route through one of the region's
most beautiful parks. Proceeds to benefit Operation Delta Dog, a nonprofit
dedicated to training service dogs for local veterans. All the Delta Dogs are
rescued from shelters: The dogs get the homes they need, and the veterans get
the help they deserve!
The event will be held on Saturday, November
9, from 11am-3pm at Great Brook Farm State Park in Carlisle, MA. Register to
walk and get your very own fundraising page on Fundraise.com, or just show up
the day of the event and join in the fun. All registered walkers will receive a
Delta Dog double-walled acrylic cup, and the top three fundraisers will also
receive a limited edition Delta Dog sweatshirt.
