UConn’s Extreme Measures A Cappella Group at Westford Academy April 5

Westford Academy Performing Arts and F.A.M.E. (Friends Advancing
Music Education) are pleased to present an evening of a cappella featuring the University
of Connecticut’s Extreme Measures.

Celebrating their 10 year anniversary, the group features
13 students including two Westford Academy alumnae, Leah DeTolla (2013) and
Katie Wright (2010). The group just released their fourth CD in March.

Prior to the performance, Extreme Measures will be sharing
their knowledge with a Master Class for current WA choral students.

The performance begins at 7 pm, on Saturday, April 5 at
the Westford Academy Performing Arts Center, 30 Patten Road, Westford. Tickets
are $5, general admission, and can be purchased at the door.

F.A.M.E.,
a 501 C (3) volunteer organization, has been supporting music education at all
grade levels of Westford Public Schools since 1983. F.A.M.E. ensures
opportunities for both music teachers and students to enrich their educational
environment through a variety of music endeavors.

The annual spring fundraiser, is an
evening of fun, food, and entertainment. It will be held on Saturday,
May 3 at the Westford Regency. The theme of this year’s dinner is “Hat’s Off to Music”, featuring a talented display of over 90 Westford
Public School student musicians including  the
Westford Academy Honors Choir.
