Sounds of Stow presents "Russian Masterpieces"

Come celebrate the 100th birthday of Sounds of Stow founder Ernest Goldman at the first concert of our 35th season: Russian Masterpieces, on Sunday, November 24th, at 3:00 p.m. at the Hale Middle School auditorium, 55 Hartley Rd., Stow, MA.

On the program: Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2, played by the Sounds of Stow Orchestra with guest soloist Wanda Paik; Gretchaninoff's Hvalite Boga ("Praise God") and Borodin's "Polovtsian Dances" from Prince Igor, performed by the Sounds of Stow Chorus & Orchestra.

Come prepared to bid on some wonderful items at our first silent auction! A Boston Red Sox lamp from Concord Lamp & Shade; a Bose Wave Radio III; a weekend getaway near Keene, NH; a framed Childe Hassam print; and a gift basket from Harvard Sweet Boutique are just a few of the offerings.
